iriver h300 software advice! - Club CDFreaks

My Nephew has asked me to see to his player and put his current music collection onto it. It should prove no problem except that he forgotten to put the software disc in the box for me and he's in Australia for another 2 weeks!

I have his music on 2 DVD's and will use my machine rather than his to accomplish the task. It comes with a 20gig hard drive.
Any and all help welcome. (the easier the better)

Is the music on the DVDs already in a supported format such as MP3?
Does the iRiver H300 show up as a drive in Explorer when connected?

If the answer to both those questions is "yes", then you should be able to just drag-and-drop or copy-paste the files from DVD to the right folder(s) on the iRiver.

Since I don't have an iRiver MP3 player, I'm afraid I can't be any more specific than that.

just have a look at www.iriver.com
They seem to have software, manuals and FAQ for their products (my browser won't show them for some strange reason

)
