| How to burn MP3 on DVD to play it in CD player? Is this possible? I would really like to do this because the 80 min CDR's just does not cut it. I dont want to get an MP3 player because then I will lost the controls on my steering wheel in my car. I tried a search, but it does not seem to be working. Please help me out.... |

| Re: How to burn MP3 on DVD to play it in CD player? DVDs generally don't play in a CD player. Lots of car CD players can play MP3 files. That's what I do and get about 10 hours on a 80 min cd. But my deck can handle MP3s. Burn the MP3s as data and it'll work. |

| Re: How to burn MP3 on DVD to play it in CD player? My car CD player will also not play MP3. What I do is to rip the audio CDs as MP3s, and then burn them to CD as CD Audio files - that way your CD player should recognise them and also you should be able to get a lot more music on one CD

| Re: How to burn MP3 on DVD to play it in CD player? Your problem will be that different lasers are needed to read a DVD as opposed to a CD. CD players don't read DVDs. If you have one of the DVD players that reads MP3 files it would be possible, but not in your car.
