I have tried this with the regular plug in that converts to .wav also, but it doesnt work! Ive directed the output directory on both to the desktop, and then tried a file in my documents folder, but whenever i close the output plug-ins window and play the song, no files show up in any of the output directories!! Am i missing something? Do i need to somehow select the plug-in some other way? I just click on it, configure, and then close right?

Im using the free downloaded version of winamp... but it shouldnt make a difference right? Gah im angry and sleepy .
AFAIK, the Winamp output stacker and the associated DiskWriter plugin do not work with the latest DRM scheme. This hasn't worked for quite some time.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Output Stacker a real time recording method? If a modified DRM code can block that, what's stopping it from blocking Tunebite and Muvaudio?

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

Hi,

I am a Tunebite user. The trick with Tunebite is that this tool re-records the music while playing. So it is DRM independent. Tunebite makes no difference between protected WMA, Napster or Apple iTunes. You play back your song and Tunebite records it.

Yesterday I got a mailing for the new Upgrade Tunebite 2.0. Tunebite records now with multiple speed and in digital quality. (Tunebite @ cdfreaks is the old version)

So you can play all drm files and record them as a private copy to new files as ogg, mp3 or wma file format with digital quality and several times faster than before. Great.

Have fun

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

well well....it seems that this thread has not died
I just tested this new Tunebite and it was over my expectations. So the long wait has payed off for all Tunebite fans :P
Unfortunatelly, I couldn't get a free upgrade. For the previous Tunebite owners, there was something like 30% discount or smth.
Anyway, it's worth it...it accelerates the process up to 4x. And it does this even with only 1 song. I don't see MuvAudio doing this

You don't see Muvaudio doing it YET. I've just put a suggestion in on the beta testers forum on Muvaudio to incorporate the same technology into Muvaudio that Tunebite now has.

Tunebite overpowering Muvaudio only temporary my friends

Wow. This is like the politics of DRM Removal Software. We have people supporting Tunebite, and we have people supporting MuvAudio. Im caught in between, because now Im wanting to try both softwares. Then we have the maybe %2 that have their own unknown software that they use. Its funny.

Well i've been an avid MuvAudio user but I have to say I am impressed with Tunebite's recent release of Tunebite 2.0.

I just bought it and tried it and the driver works flawlessly at 3x recording speeds (don't think my computer is quite fast enough for 4x).

Haha, it's true. But in my book Muvaudio wins because:

1. Not only did I buy it, but I bought it BEFORE tunebite released their faster recording method.

2. Muvaudio was the first to give a pure digital copy.

3. The support team for Muvaudio is FANTASTIC.

I really believe that Muvaudio will prevail in the end. I'm sure the genious mind behind Muvaudio (Renezska) will release something even greater, or at least equal to, Tunebite.

Imagine if MuvAudio keeps their 4 recorder process and ADDS the digital speed up driver. It would be effectly almost 10x recording speeds. That's what I'd like to see.

I mentioned this to the creator of Muvaudio but he said he doesn't know if that could happen because the company that creates Tunebite is a much larger compnay than Muvaudio.

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

I just cracked Tunebite! I'll evaluate it and let you know what I think.

I have a question though:
With this serial will I be getting free upgrades for a lifetime as long as I use that same serial?

EDIT: I just recorded my first song with it. It recorded REALLY fast but I still don't like it as much as Tunebite. I'll only be using it when I need to record one song really fast.

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

Toasters, I highly doubt youll be getting free updates. I purchased Tunebite(one of the first versions), and the only free update I got was the version that doesnt cut songs, and the plugin to record to wma. I hope this new version is good, let us know. I still havent found my own crack yet.

I don't like the new Tunebite because it isn't as good as Muvaudio... I don't get good quality files and the creator of Muvaudio sent me a PM saying how he noticed a HUGE noticable difference in the recording Muvaudio produced and then that of the new Tunebite. Of course the Muvaudio recording was the better of the two.

Probably. The free version of Muvaudio doesn't use VAC.

The free version DOES use Virtual Audio Cable (VAC), but just a customized version that imprints the word "trial" every 5 seconds.

It installs it for you when you install muvaudio, or at least it did for me.
