Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

It has been said on this thread the DRM license is impossible to mod*. I want to everyone know it has been done when DRM first came out. Here is the one who did it...http://cryptome.org/beale-sci-crypt.htm and tells how it works. I want to thank everyone for the educational value of this thread. This person "Beagle Screamer" did it once; others are on it.... http://news.com.com/2061-10799_3-567...3102&subj=news
Thanks everyone keep at it...

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

So, I am still able to convert to WMA, with files that were downloaded a few days ago. I have not started N* since then, is there something that starting N* will do, that will update the local DRM? Or, are new N* file encoded with something new? Meaning, files already downloaded will be able to be converted still?

Man, we DO pay for this stuff, don't know why I get boxed out of playing it on my 500$ car system, 200$ home system, and have to play stuff on a crappy PFS player.

It appears that new files from V will no longer convert using MM as of this afternoon.

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

To address the question between Tunebite and MuvAudio, I'd suggest MuvAudio. It's a great program (thanks to whoever suggested it several posts back).

However, if you aren't running Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you won't be able to run it. You'll also need the .NET framework.

It's alot better than Tunebite, but it's still in beta. A new release should be coming out today, in fact.

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

Audiotrak MAYA44 MKII sound card

AUDIOTRAK'S DirectWIRE feature
- Record Any Audio Source, Route Digital Audio Streams Without Wires

Check this out:

http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/...rakmaya44mkii/

I tested this card and all I can tell you is that if you want 100% digital sound quality.....this is it.

Cards like these cost usually around $500 to $800 bucks.

This is not your "generic" crap card that comes with any standard PC.

If you o.k. with your tunebite analog "cut off" crap recording, this message is not for you.

But if you really interested in pure 100% digital recorded music this is your best call.

I tested this card with MuvAudio and the results are astonishing. There is virtually no difference in the songs.

O.K., I admit $100 bucks is a lot of money for a sound card......but then again.....

What do you want?????

Ford Pinto or Mercedes Benz?

Take care.

No, I don't see what you mean.

If your objective here is to play "Message Board Police"......

you're in the wrong forum.

And if you don't understand the difference between "analog" and "digital" recording,

You should ignore my previous post.

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

absolutly correct... The traces on the card are most likely shut off when this option is disabled... nothing a simple transistor couldn't do. The idea is that instead of plugging in a wire from the line out to mic or line in, it is already done on the card in copper traces.... therefor not making it digital.

Then again, I didn't read the page because digitallica has been promoting this like spam at least 3 times during the thread.

Real time options are now obvious, and we really need to discuss progression onto the next true digital faster than real time conversion tool... I'll keep trying old programs in the mean time I guess.

and the sound card is clearly the ford pinto.... speed wise anyways

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

Surely someone on this board knows a way to convert wma to mp3 digitally. If this person was smart they would keep the secret to themselves so it doesn't get blocked like mmjb and the rest. If anyone has a way and they don't want to post it on the board please send me an email at renaldo18@yahoo.com. I would greatly appreciate it

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

I gave up. Cancelled my napster subscription, and started using LimeWire. It's not perfect, but it's not so fucked and corrupted like KazaaLite/Revolution turned into. I still run into corrupted mp3's, but my success rate for actual song/good quality mp3's is probably around 85%. I'm on cable, so having to download again if I get a corrupt isnt that bad, plus LimeWire tells me if the song is corrupt. Like that radar plugin for Kazaa Lite.

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

Ironic how the record companies block our conversion tools thinking it will get them more money, when in the end it only ends up to everyone cancelling their subscriptions.

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

Has anyone tested the sound quality of a converted song using the old digital way "i.e. - MMJ, Virt) and the real time analog way ( muvaudio)? Is the quality diminished greatly using Muvaudio if using an Audigy 2 zs soundcard?

Re: How to burn or crack protected WMA files?

Rocky .......

I have not tested the "Audigy 2 ZS" soundcard, but from what I have read you should have very positive results in conjunction with " MuvAudio"

If you want even better audio quality you should consider looking for a sound card which is especially designed for digital music recording. Also called DTMP (Desktop Music Production)

Hope that helps.
