| Here's a Wierd One I installed Nero OEM that came with my new HP CD52 CD-RW. I hoped it was the full blown Nero that I'm used to but it was Nero Express. It wanted to install DirectX9 for some video app included in Nero Express. I clicked OK. I'm not sure if my cheapo video card supports D9X or not. I'm guessing not. I instaled Nero OEM (Express) in a different directory than my full blown Nero. From that point on, Alcohol 120% wouldn't work. Either CCD or Cool Edit Pro (I forget which) or both wouldn't work either. I had to flash an old Ghost image of my partition to regain use of those programs. |
