Extract Left or Right Audio from Mpeg - Club CDFreaks

Hi All,

I have movies in mpg files that contain dual audio. Is there any software that would allow me to extract either the left or the right channel, as is, without converting the audio format. I want to keep it in the original MP2 format. I know River Past Audio Converter would allow me to do the extraction but it would convert to another format. I would then have to convert back to MP2 to multiplex back to the original mpg, which is a waste of time. Thanks in advance.

I think cool edit pro lets you do that. If you, first, select extract audio from movie clip, or whatever it is, i think you can do it like that.
