EAC, Fuerio and WinXP PRo

I have a problems using EAC and Fuerio under Win XP Pro.
Ripping cd's with both software is going ok, but when i try to burn a cd i get a blue screen of death. (I thougt this could not happen in xp....lol)

I have also Nero and Clone-cd installed which both work without problems.

I have disabled the internal burning option of windows and have the latest aspi drivers installed.

Any knows has the same problems and solved it???
(or should i go back to win98se)

Try and disabling the IMAPI service under the services tab.
right click on my computer and click management, then look for the services, click on that and then look for the IMAPI services, right click and then look for the tab that says start up, click it and then disable. I might be wrong in a few parts, but that is where it located..

Well I use Clone CD , Nero , EAC , Fuerio & all are happy burn buddies under XP's roof.

In EAC under the options > interface tab try toggle back and forth between the different SCSI 's & see what happens .

In Fuerio under extras use the diagnoses , test bus & re-scan SCSI ..it should tell ya if any conflict's , other than that maybe re-install.

Sorry can't be of more help...other than to let you know it should be able work under XP.

Firmware

No I also use a Yamaha 2100e , along with a LiteON 24X & all works fine. My Yam had F/W 1.0m , h & now n...still works.

What is it you do that EAC crashes ? does it give you an error ?

And the same for Fuerio ?

I did a search at r3mix.net & cd-rw.org and found problems with new 4.70 aspi & EAC...is this what aspi you have ? if so get rid of it & get Force aspi...EAC doesn't need aspi but Fuerio does.

Do you have all the updates for XP & CD burning ? a new one came out yesterday http://support.microsoft.com/default...en-us;Q320174& some older one's also on Win update.

I go to lots of XP FORUMS , I see problems with Nero & Clone CD but not EAC & Fuerio . Check the aspi thing...get all Win updates , make sure EAC & Fuerio are lastest version and X your fingers. I'm only average person who can maybe fix average problems...your problem may be over my Head or so simple We just don't see it ?

Also OC-Freak , G@M3FR3@K , Upp3rdOG go to EAC , Lame Forums...maybe you can give them a PM

If you come up with any more info let me know & good luck !

Fuerio seems to work again....EAC not. I gues i have to live with it till i install winxp again.

Perhaps i will look in the forums for more information.
