eac couldn't rip disc CD 200.5.0.151- 5.00.160

i have bought many of the cd's with cd 200, but this one is very peciliar,
the cd is pink champagne. i have an ltr - 52327s.
i try to rip it in secure mode with eac and it says too may errors and the porcess just stops and the log says ther are many errors.
i am puzzled with this.
and the interesting thing is if i rip in burst mode it doesn't give me any probs. but i don't know the quality.
very strange , very very strange!

Have you tried this one yet ?

EAC > Action > TOC Alterations > Detect TOC Manually.

hi,
i tried it but at exactly 7.1% the error correction starts in the eac window and when it finished it says extraction finished , it gives the message" there were errors"
and he length of he track is just 0.13 minutes.
wierd , this damn protection is very wierd .
this is the firt cactus datshield cd i am seeing this.
i can rip it in burst mode,in eac, and with nero , with cd dex.
but not with eac in secure mode.

Hi, check the option "Drive is capable of retrieving C2 error informations" Under EAC/Drive Options/Extraction Method. If it is switched on, try to switch it off and rip again, or vice versa.

Maybe this could help you...

Good luck,

ET

Well can you just make a copy with nero or cdex and then rip the copy? The Hardware errors won't copy as your burner isn't capable of doing that.

For Troublesome CDS200 I reccomend:

-Use Clone and Read Session 1 ONLY and then on your working copy do whatever you want with it.

This isn't 100% as some Hardware just can't do it, but it should help.
