The Donnas - Spend The Night CD not read by computer...

Both my Lite-On CD-RW and Pioneer DVD-RW don't recognize the CD is even in. I hear it spinning up in the Lite-On, and when in the Pioneer, Win XP makes the little "reading CD" icon, but the CD never shows up. CDex thinks the drives are just empty, as does My Computer.

An old DVD-ROM reads it, and a set-top CD player and a Discman both read it. So I take it it isn't a faulty disc. It just has some ridiculous copy protection. I bought the CD so I could rip high quality MP3's with my Lite-On.... not crappy ones with a 3 year old slow DVD-ROM...

Can anyone confirm it is in fact copy protection? Or is there something potentially wrong with my disc and I should exchange it?

Use the EAC and Lame combination to make your MP3s. Also insert the disc AFTER starting EAC.

Nope, all other CDs I own work. There's just some kind of copy protection on this one and I don't know which kind or how to combat it.
