| Creating an Audio machine (2004-05) products BEST CDRW Machine I am converting my machine to backup my audio collection (yes I mean pressed CDs). Can someone recommend great audio hardware?Optical Drive CDR drive and media, cables and software I have read that the "Plextor ultraplex 50pin narrow scsi drive with firmware 1.0" is the best. However I am searching for new products. Current findings: CD-ROM (LiteOn SHOw) CDR Media (TDK) CDR drive (Plextor Premium) Software (Exact Audio Copy, EAC) |

| Re: Creating an Audio machine (2004-05) products BEST CDRW Machine For me: CDR Media = Taiyo Yuden (e.g. Verbatim Pastel Disc). 100% agree with the Premium choice, and would add Plextools Professional (bundled with the drive) as another great software for secure audio ripping. | Re: Creating an Audio machine (2004-05) products BEST CDRW Machine This post was intended to track down the best audio burning drives available today. However, I just received a Pelxtor PX-40TSI (November 1999) internal Ultra Plex scsi drive from with Plextor Manager Version 1.0 (June 1999). |
