How log does it takes for you to rip 5:10 min. track from retail CD using CDex?

Depends on the drive.

Bought optical drives from AOpen, HP, LiteOn, NEC, Philips, Pioneer, Plextor, Ricoh, Samsung, Sanyo, Toshiba and Yamaha.

I have tow 52X read ones one does it In 15sec. another In 40sec. I don't get it.

Different drives can reach their top speeds in different manners. CAV, CLV, etc. Search the 'net for information.

My LiteOn 1635S dvd burner also took 40 seconds (for a 5:18 song). My LiteOn XJ-HD166S dvd reader did it about 18 seconds.

LiteOn DVD/CDRW combo 15sec. samsung DVD read drive 40 sec.
