Audio Discuss, Can Nero burn Feurio! IMages? at International Chat: Software related forum; I was wondering if it is better if i make my audio cd images in Feurio!, then burn the image on Nero ? I ask because Feurio! doesn't suport my CDRW Drive, but Nero does. Does doing this still have the benefits of using Feurio!?(such as Feurios mp3 error

The Feurio images can't be burned with something different from Feurio.
Besides, Feurio doesn't correct MP3s files: it just detects defective frames.
Maybe there are programs that interpolate missing samples, and sound better...

You can burn some Nero images with Feurio Professional... but not Feurio images with Nero...

You have been given a rather good tip on how to change that :

Your drive is not suppoted by Feurio and in fact is a rebadged Sanyo.
So, since it has the Sanyo chipset it won't be possible to convert it into a LiteOn using the mtkflash and stuff.

The "B" version of the drive is based on the Lite-On LTR-40125S.

as minix says, try using the generic_mmc driver:

Feurio's CD Writer -> Writer Settings tab -> Info -> Driver tab -> Select driver.
You can even try using Generic SCSI-3/ATAPI-Driver :

Quote:
Generic driver for all writers, which uses commandes according to the scsi-3 multimedia commandset (also many ATAPI IDE-writers can be used with this driver).

Not for the worse.

you can try burning a CDRW first and see what happens, in case if you're that worried.
