Is there a list over audio CD players (standalone) that won't play Cactus protected CD's correctly?

I've heard that some Marantz DVD audio players will play these discs, but with audible crackle and pops.

it is better to return the discs then to buy expensive equipment

Yes, of course but I'd like to know if there is any incompatibility reported.

I am not aware of such a list. Maybe such a list exists on forums which discuss high-end-audio...
