Hello everyone this my first time posting here.

here is my question:

I have one large mp3 file that came with a .cue file. Someone told
me that i could burn both files and the cue file would create tracks for the mp3 file. I tried burning with nero, using the audio option, but it would not take the cue file. I tried using the image option, but it would load the cue file, but always gets an error saying it cannot find the file, error on line 3. I checked out the file
and path to the mp3 file, has not path in it, and it looks like it spelled correctly. I'm using nero 6.0. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it. I can post the contents of .cue file, if needed.

please, post the cuesheet.

anyway, you can use better programs than Nero to do that.

Feurio CD-Manager -> Project -> create project from cuesheet-file

Unlike Nero, you can play and edit the tracks before burning CUE file.
And it has better warning of errors.

is it possible in nero, though, I don't have feurio

I downloaded ferurio and I loaded the cue file, it looks like it loaded the tracks, I have not tested a burn yet. I want to make sure it doesn't put any pause between each track, HOW DO I DO THIS?

sorry one last questin, feuro doesn't give me the option to choose AUDIO ( I want to be able to play these in my car CD), does it automatically burn them as AUDIO. How does this work?

You don't have to worry about that with cuesheets. The pauses are defined by the cuesheets, I think.

Use the "Play" button to exactly hear how the tracks and pauses will be burned.

Anyway, press the "Settings" button under the projects list.
You'll use "Do not insert pauses between tracks" for most cases.
Those settings will be remembered, unlike Nero.


That's right, because Feurio! only burns audio discs.
You don't have to remember to select "Disc At Once" anymore, because Feurio only burns audio discs in DAO mode, of course.

is your burner supported? which one?

I would try rebooting the system 1st, and then simulating.

Is there any strange thing at the failure position? Can you play/edit the compilation?
Has Feurio decoded the MP3 to WAV 1st? (It's not necessary).

I'll make tests with that cue later...

Decoding while burning ("on the fly") needs more resources while burning, but it's faster and nice. The tracks are decoded while burned.
This is what Nero does.


Decoding to WAV before burning is safer against buffer underruns. It doesn't need as much CPU power, and is safer against errors in MP3 track.

well if I choose decode data while burning, I get this error message:

ERROR: wen dcompressing the files; internal error:EOF reaced! The end of file was reached to early while reading.

I will try the other option the first one: decode on the fly;

I have a hp cd writer 9100 series cd-r burner

I checked out the disc it burn list half of the tracks, I can play half of them.

End Of File reached.

It seems that the MP3 track is damaged.
Strange because Feurio can detect that kind of errors usually and warn.

Anyway, you only have to decode the MP3 to WAV with any program like Feurio, dbPowerAmp, Winamp, etc.
Check if the WAV file is OK.
Then change the 3rd line of CUE:
FILE "01-black_kat_vs_killamanjaro-black_kat_part-rks.mp3" MP3

to

FILE "decoded_wav.wav" WAV

and load this modified CUE with any program that can read CUE files.

You only have to mke sure that the WAV or MP3 is OK.

The CUE file seems correct, so the error is in the MP3 file.

It seems that the file is damaged.

You have to change the mp3 to MP3 for some reason, And then it works fine.

yes, you're right Vector. I forgot that.
It's another stupid bug in Nero since versions 5.5 and still hasn't been fixed... very sad.

i did this, but my drive isnt supported.
i have no money to buy a new one, so what do i do? i used a generic driver, and went through all the steps, but it gave me an error at 97%.
out of 18 tracks, 10 worked fine. the 11'th wasnt. i looked at the mp3 before spliting and it was fine as well. even uppercased MP3.

please help, i've tried changing "mp3" to "MP3" and it's still not helping...i'm using Nero and would like to stick to it as oppose to using Ferurio...

also, if anyone can have a site for proper way of setting up a cue file, so i know when i look at one, i know what needs to be edited in order to burn...
