| Burning CDs - Best Quality? Hello, Can anybody help me with burning CDs? I am trying to achieve the best possible quality of me burning my music from beatport (WAV's) to Disc. I am currently looking at buying a new burner and which one is the best for burning AUDIO CDs. In that, what is the best CD to burn AUDIO to? i.e. Sony, PHillips, Memorex, TDK? Thanks ![]() |

| Re: Burning CDs - Best Quality? Welcome to CDF! ![]() Possibly the Plextor Premium (or Premium 2) from what I've read. Other than that, I find LG and BenQ drives burn CDs very well, both data and audio. I do tend to keep my burn speed at 16x for burning audio CDs, though ![]() As for media (discs)...Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden CDRs are usually recommended around here. ![]() Hope this helps. ![]()

| Re: Burning CDs - Best Quality? It's as Arachne suggests. For media it's Verbatim Pastels (a Taiyo Yuden dye) , Verbatim Super AZO and Taiyo Yuden branded ones. For burning with DVD burners I find the Benq 1650 & the Pioneer 111 to be best ,all at 16x. |
