dears friends:

i hope that someone help me because i dont now how to solve this thing...

recently i have downloaded a file in p2p that have 2 files one with extension *.ape and one other with *.cue...
this files wore made with AEC but when i tried to burn in cd with EAC, an error occour whe i load the cue file "..the file *.wav do not exist.." , but the file its in ape...

how can i convert ape to wav ???... decompressing with AEC do not result also...

Hi Jimmyweb, welcome to the forum!

APE is a lossless compression format, called also 'Monkey's Audio'. 'lossless' means that you can uncompress the file to its original .WAV format without any loss of audio quality. The official program that manages APE files is Monkey's Audio, you can download it here.
The program of course performs both compression WAV->APE and decompression APE->WAV.

You can also use the 'Decompression' feature of EAC, but you have in any case to instally Monkey's Audio first.

Probably you can also uses different methods, like the various 'Media Jukeboxes' that you can find on the net, but Monkey's Audio program is nice, and it is free.
