| Which bitrate is correct? not clear, what bitrate is correct: mp3 file tags show -Bit Rate: 320 kbps (when move cursor on file), but when file play, windows media player task bar show Playing: 209 Kbits/second (and file properties also show this 209Kbits) Which bitrate is correct? |

| Re: Which bitrate is correct? Scan the MP3 with MP3Utility, or scan the folder its in with EncSpot. Or play the MP3 in WinAMP or foobar2000. Any of those programs I mentioned will tell you the actual bitrate of the MP3. Windows Media Player and Windows just aren't at all reliable for detecting strange MP3's bitrates. |
