| Bang for the Buck My system blows. I have a simple two piece speaker set that sounds ok, but I want to have some more power behind it. I want to rip FLAC files and be able to play them back on a speaker system that is worth of the encoding. What is the best system I can get for the best price? I am looking for something that will give me good quality sound for my music/movie fetish. |

| Re: Bang for the Buck I have found that most cheap 5.1 speaker systems sound great at lower levels. you still get that home theatre effect, sounds all around you, and great sounding bass. however, if you intend to crank the tunes or movie, they will turn out to be not so nice sounding sometimes. my brother has a creative labs speaker set (dont know the model) and it actually is priced decent, and does rock the house!! my friend has a logitec system that REALLY rocks the house. for these you are looking around $100-300 |
