Audio Discuss, Back Up CD at International Chat: Software related forum; which software is best to back up my music cds? and the fastest its been ages since done it as mainly putting ym music on pc to put on ipod. i used to use roxio but that puts 2 sec gap between each track.

With Plextor drives it is PlexTools Pro. With everything else, it is EAC with AccurateRip installed.

CopyToDVD is a simple and fast piece of software for the job. COpyToDVD does back ups of music, data, DVD's, and more.

There is a free trial period fo the product.

Yeah, I use EAC to create a .wav and .cue pair, and I can mount these with Daemon Tools and the system acts as if the actual cd has been put in the drive. Freedb lookups still work too
