Hi, I was wondering if there was a free program that converts .mp3 to .wma? Incase anyone wants to know why, it's beause I wanna make my own ringtones.

Hi and welcome to the forum

I don't know if it can work, but you can try to use audacity. Open mp3 file and save it in a different format

You could also try Audio Conversion Wizard great app not for free though.

If you have nero it there is an option to do it in that software. Nero Smart Start-->Audio-->Encode audio files.

Your phone supports WMA for ringtones? That's pretty cool. I'd never call WMA a good format for music - but it is great at low bitrates, which makes it a prime candidate for ringtone use.

the easy way is to get a software ...ring tone converter ...you just right cklik on the song and it will promp you to do so
