I've got a strange problem that I hope someone can help me with. When I insert an Audio CD into my Plextor drive and then try to play one of the tracks with Windows Media Player, the music starts playing as expected. But, in approximately 5 seconds, the same song starts playing again. Then ~5 seconds later a third instance of the song starts. This continues about every 5 seconds. It isn't that the song plays for 5 seconds and starts over. What is happening is that each instance of the song is being played at the same time. This was amusing for the first 20 seconds or so but I can't seem to figure it out. Using XP.

Ehm, could it be you have activated intro scan or what its name is and repeat track? Just asking ...

I don't think so but I'll double check. I can play MP3s without this problem. It's only looping with tracks from an audio CD. Thanks!
