With Nero 4 or 5, I used to be able to add a Windows Briefcase to an InCD formatted RW disk by right-clicking on the disk window and selecting New Briefcase. That does not work with Nero 6 and 7. I can't even copy a Briefcase onto the RW. The Briefcase just turns into an ordinary folder icon. This cannot be an isolated problem because it has happened on four different PCs.

My old RWs with existing Briefcases continue to work, so the problem is in creating a new Briefcase. Nero won't give me a straight answer or admit that there is a problem. Has anyone else had this problem or, more importantly, found a solution?

I found the Briefcase provided a quick way to back up hundreds files, since only the changed files had to be written or restored. And it did not require any special software to do it.

Well, I found that Windows Briefcases do work in Sonic/Roxio DirectCD and the Drive Letter Access (DLA) software provided free on most new PCs. So I uninstalled InCD and now use DLA. Packet writing hasn't been reliable since M$ released Windows XP SP1.
