Nero & InCD Discuss, Why the 2 second minimum with Nero 6? at Burning Software forum; I am trying to burn a cd of music sample/loops, some of which are less than 2 seconds long (stabs & licks) and Nero won't accept them in a compilation. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Why the 2 second minimum with Nero 6?

I just verified what you did and it is strange. I recorded a 1 second sound file and Nero rejected it.

How about going into Nero Wave Editor and opening one of your very short samples. Add 1 or 2 seconds of dead silence using the record functions so the total file size becomes large enough to add to the compilation (e.g. 3 seconds).

The other option using Nero Wave editor is to keep pasting the individual samples into one large file. It would work but I don't think you would be able to advance as though they were individual tracks.

It's not a Nero problem. The CD standard states the minimum track length is 4 seconds.
