Nero & InCD Discuss, What's the best version of NERO to run? at Burning Software forum; I'm currently running NERO Version 6.6.0.18. I was told some time ago it was the best one and not to upgrade to anything higher in the 6.6 series or to V. 7. Is this still the case?

I've stuck to the same version as you. If you're happy with what it does for you then stick with it.
Obviously if you need some of the new functionality in Nero 7 then upgrade otherwise not.

Re: What's the best version of NERO to run?

I don't remember a thing about why not to go higher than 6.6.0.18. Could someone remind me why to never update beyond 6.6.0.18?

Re: What's the best version of NERO to run?

It's just that 6.6.1.4 uses much more memory whilst burning , although 6.6.1.6 may have fixed this.
