Placing Audio where the "pause" spot of a track is.. negative time track!

Let me Reiterate (sp. )
alright, i've had a few cd's where interludes would play and be negative time...

lets say track #2 is 4 minutes long...

Then said interlude between track #2 and track #3 comes on..

But the time is negative (starts counting down not up) and that track is still part of track #2...

HOW DO U DO THAT?

I have nero 6.0 ultra (the full one), and i heard nero can do this. i've tried the whole "set the index 0 to this" and that. I set the start (index0 ) to later in the track and set the pause time/gap of that track to that time i started it (1minute if i started a minute in). Nothing...

So basically i want to put AUDIO into that "pause" section that is negative time (counts up). help ME!
