Hello. This is a new issue I'm having when using Plextor PX-760A and PX-755A to copy a CD using Nero Express 7 at 48X. I'm not even able to successfully complete at 48x burn on the fly. I'm using Taiyo Yuden 52X CDRs. I'm using the PX-760 for the source drive and the other Plextor for burning. One drive is IDE as master and the other SATA. On my other drives this issue is not present. I have tried using CloneCD but same issue. I am now noticing this after moving to Vista 64-bit. I am aware that burning CDs at 48X is not recommended, but it should be at least possible, right? Almost all burns at 48X fail...burning at 32X is successful most of the time..and 16X is always successful. I am wondering why this is happening. Any help would be highly appreciated. Error log below. Thank you.

Turn your DMA on for the IDE drives...DMA does not apply to SATA drives AFAIK. Also some people have issues when using Nvidia drivers.

Nvidia drivers tend to confuse Nero, so it's hard to tell from a Nero log your DMA status.

Hello. According to my Device Manager DMA is selected for the IDE and as I can see I am already using MS drivers. I am looking at the IDE controller in Device Manager and also in the Primary & Secondary Channels. The only place where Nvidia drivers are being used are for my network controller as well as my SATA. Is there anything else I should try? Thank you.
