NERO8: Can't create empty document! - Club CDFreaks

It was working OK, now it doesn't want to open window for a new document.
Nero Express working ok!
What might be a problem?

I've received demo Nero8 via softpedia's site (i know no direct link's here)!

Do you use DAEMON Tools Pro? I had the some problem with Nero 8 and Deamon tools, had to "Unregister Shell Extensions" and after that Nero started to create the documents.

Nope, Daemon uninstalled, same problem.
Nero 7 works OK!

PS. I've installed and reinstalled cleared registry, still nothing!!!

Try using the Nero Clean Tool.

Just had the same problem as you describe. Nero8 would work just fine... for a while. Just now it would not create the new document.

Fixed it by reseting the settings to the default values. Can be done in the Nero 8 menu by: File -> Options -> Expert Features -> Restore.

for me it only worked to do both. First I went into nero and restored settings.
Then I went and unregistered daemon tools shell extensions.

now I can create nero documents.

Yes, it worked! Looks like Daemon tools make troubles!
Just unregistered extensions, and all OK!
