Well I just upgraded to 7.0.8.2.
Setting individual Pause times via each track's properties is now fixed in
Nero Burning ROM. Some tracks can do the default of 2 seconds, while others can be set to 0 seconds of Pause time. This now works.
Unfortunately, adding Filters to an individual track still don't work. I added Normilization to a few different tracks, burned the CD, and when my complilation came back up, the track's properties showed no sign of me adding the Normalize filter. Listening to the CD confirmed that Normilization did not happen on those tracks.
C'mon NERO!!! These features all worked perfectly in 6.6! Why in the world are these bugs
STILL in 7.0?????
I also made a quick CD of MP3 files. The MP3's were LAME encoded by me....some at 320 kbps, the others using the LAME Alt Extreme Preset VBR. The files encoded at 320 kbps CBR played back fine. But the VBR files had the first little bit clipped off the beginning. Otherwise the tracks played fine.
Nero really needs to get their act together. They became popular because their software always worked. Now it has become this gigantic peice of bloatware that offers a crapload of features that the majority of its user base really doesn't want. I sincerely hope that they can pull it back together soon.
