Hi,
I've had the same setup for over 3 years with NEVER any problems but suddenly I can't burn anything. I have a Memorex 16x DVDR burner (3202 3292) and I always use DVDShrink (which of course uses Nero to burn). I use Nero 6 which came with the burner. I've updated the burner firmware and updated Nero 6 but I still get an error every time I try to burn. I can't understand how I could go so long with NO problems then this happens. I always use the same media too (Phillips DVD-R or +R). Any help would really be appreciated. Here is the Nero Error Log:

Try updating the chipset drivers for your mobo. You will need to know what make and model of mobo you have. If you have a Dell, Gateway, or HP, try their websites for chipset updates. Otherwise, check your mobo manufacturer's website for the updates. Dell and Gateway both use Intel boards but Dell writes custom BIOS for many of their machines so you have to get the update directly from Dell. Gateway doesn't modify the stock Intel BIOS so you can get the update from Gateway or Intel. If you have a VIA chipset go to www.viaarena.com and get the latest Hyperion Pro driver package (chipset & platform). Post back if this doesn't help.
