Re: Nero 8.2.8.0 R3eleased 12/19

i think it happens in 64bit OS only, I use Vista and server 2008, but i think it happens in 64bit XP as well.

Error is not visible to end user, it shows up in event viewer everytime you start the program. CD-DVD Speed was fine, it only happens with DiscSpeed

Sorry I have to disagree that this happens on Vista 64 bit at least and I did look at my error logs which is none.

Hi
OK I can get this too.
Vista 64 bit. (Ultimate SP1 etc)
Has something to do with 64 bit & running in compatability mode (32 bit).
At least that's what I've come to believe.
However I don't get any unstability as a result of this.

IT works for Dr Who and but I just read where Zeb can recreate this, I know it works with XP Pro. They both run 32bit and 64 bit Vista, ,

its unstable if i have two programs open at the same time

so lets say i have one program open, and i'm doing test burn on the samsung (sata), then i start second instance and try to do quality scan on my benq (ide).

One of the two instances of program will crash locking in the drive, and won't eject the disc until a restart

This might be your issue as I don't run 2 tests at once.

point is that CD-DVD Speed i could run 4 programs at once, and it didn't crash. DiscSpeed is unstable.
