Nero 6.3 express and NT4

Hiya,

I have some old computers running NT and IE4.01. I bought some LG CD burners and Nero 6.3 express is bundled with them.

The problem is I can see the drive no problem when Nero is not installed. It's set as a slave on the primary IDE. I can read data on disks in the drive.

But, after installing Nero, I can still see the drive in NT explorer, but any disk placed in the drive is not read.

The ONLY time the disk is read is if it is in the drive when the pc is booted up. If I then remove the cd and reinsert it, the drive is 'not ready'.

I should add that if I remove Nero from the pc, the drive becomes fully readable at any time.

Can anybody suggest something??

Thanks - Nathan
