How to make a small change to DVD Navigation

I have made a "new" DVD of the Manchurian Candidate from an .avi source video using NVE v2.1.2.16

I have used the movie trailer as the background on the main menu but it was getting obscured by the 17 chapters (6 per page) I've created in the main movie.

I got round this by adding a second little (1 second) .avi that just says "Play Movie" in big yellow letters on a black background.

That gave me just two buttons on a main menu: one saying "Play Movie" and a second (which I named "Select Scenes") showing the main movie. I shifted these down below the trailer so they no longer obscure it.

Clicking the "Select Scenes" button now takes you to a sub menu with three pages allowing Chapter selection in the main movie and that all works fine.

However, Clicking the "Play Movie" button plays the brief message (Play Movie) but then RETURNS to the main menu!

What I wanted it to do was jump straight to the start of the main movie but NVE doesn't seem to give me the ability to do that!

Can anyone offer a simple explanation of what I would have to edit in order to make the player jump staright to the second title (ie the main movie) immediately after it's been asked to play the first title (ie the little "Play Movie" file)?

Thanks to anyone who reads/replies

In Nero Vision, on the screen where you add movie files, there is an option below saying Video Options. Click on that, from the drop down select 'PLAY NEXT TITLE' instead of 'JUMP TO MENU'. This should sort out your problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I suspect you may have a later version of the program than me, I don't have that option in the location you describe

However, in the next screen (Create Menu) I do have the option to switch between "Jump to main menu" & "Play next title". Unfortunately, it is only applied globally and not to individual files but I think I can live with that

So that will do me fine! Thanks again.
