Help: Unspecified target error - Club CDFreaks

Hello...

i'm a newbie here and i have encountered some problems burning dvd+r. i have tried burning with nero and also directly from itunes with no results... the weird thing is that i didn't use to have this problem. or only rarely . but now it's all the time...

here is the error log from nero. is there anything i can do?

welcome to cdfreaks.
You have a Matshita burner - they ar very picky about the used media.
You may try with Verbatim media.

i thought it may have been a problem with me having an older version of nero, so i got nero light 8.2.8.0 and then, when the burning failed, the computer would automatically shut off...

so i uninstalled it and now i'm back to nero 6.6.0.16

i'll go get some new dvds and see how that goes. thanks again...

oops! sorry, not vivitar but verbatim... it still doesn't work... is there anything someone can recommend or should i just buy an external burner?...

Maybe try at 4x again or just clean the burner using pump air (spray) or isopropanol and a q-tip.
