| File Verification Error(Folder freezes when opening) Hello everyone. I was hoping you could help me with a issue I am having when I am backing up my data. I have Nero 6 v 6.3.1.6. I know this isn't the latest version, it was just that everything was working for me prior to my old dvd-rw failing on me. I now have a Lite-on DVD-RW SOHW-1213S 12X burner. I updated to the latest firmware on its site as well. Here's my process of backing up. I go to Nero Burning Rom and select DVD-ROM (ISO) and start adding my data to my complimation. I have the 'verify data' option checked and for the last 3 DVD's, I have gotten a data verification error. When I try to open the completed dvd backup, the folder freezes and I have to close it down with ctl alt del. The data dvd that keeps failing has these file types that can't be read. I am not sure if this matters or not, it's just an observation. Also to note I have memorex media, which I know is not super high class, but should be decent. Any ideas on how to get 100 percent correct data backups? Help or advice is greatly appreciated! |

When I tried backing up some other tv show files I recieved the same error. When trying to browse the CD it freezes on me.
