| Coverting an AVI file for NEro I am trying to make a DVD, with an AVI file..that only plays on a VLC? media player..I have Nero 6.0 and when I drag this file into the "add video files folders, Nero does not allow it..although the file extension is AVI...I have recorded other AVI files..why isn't this one recordable? can I convert it? |

| Re: Coverting an AVI file for NEro It has to be transcoded with Nerovision Express first, then you can burn it. edit: Sorry, didn't notice at first that you said you had done other files. It must be the codec that the AVI was recorded with. Do you have both DivX and Xvid on your system? |
