I use Nero (allot) and had just installed Canopus Procoder to mess around transforming AVI's to DVD and later went to burn something with Nero (latest version) and I had major problems.
It would fill the main buffer and act like it was starting to write (red light on DVD burner) but then would do nothing. Nero would not let me close it out, had to ctrl-atl-del to close it but the burner would still act like it was burning. I had to eventually hard reset.
I could however still use CloneDVD, that worked fine.

Then realizing that the only system change I made since my last succesfull Nero burn was Procoder.
So I uninstalled Procoder and re-installed (repaired) Nero and everything works fine.

So is there a conflict between the two programs or is Procoder maybe overwriting a needed Nero file?

Would installing Nero after Procoder solve the problem?

Any advice would greatly be appreciated.
