| Burning Dvd Problems Someone help please, I just got the big boot from Sony. I have been trying to burn my first dvd. All software seems to work, but when it comes time to burn the file, nero fails..I spent time with Sony and did a firmware upgrade, but the ASPI upgrade the wanted me to install would not install. Soooo. now they want 19.95 to diagnose my problems. I don't mind the money, but it's the thought that counts..first they give me a fix, it doesn't work, and then they want pay for the next step..give me a break... I am using a Sony DRU 710-A burner and verbatim 16X dvd-r certified disks. The main problem is..the drive doesn't turn on... Can anyone help??????? Thanks Last edited by jrs6037; 14-06-2006 at 02:18. |

| Re: Burning Dvd Problems Maybe if you post the NeroHistory log, someone will see a problem. The log is in your Core directory and is a text file. Try to edit it down to the sections containing the problem burns or erase it and do a new burn. Make sure you remove your serial number. You might also try burning at a speed around 4x to see if it helps.
