Have you added, removed, or updated any programs lately. Changed your firmware. Changed settings in Nero. What type of burn were you doing. Was it from the hard disk or the ROM drive. The more info the easier to solve the problem.

I updated Nero but that was before i was told to turn on DMA, so i burned a few dvds sucessfully since that update. I was burning a DVD movie from the hard drive. What kind of firmware should be updated. Thanks

Without making any changes i tried to burn another dvd movie on a RW dvd. here is the error report from that failed burn.

You are writing a very large file. Does your system work if you use a smaller file?

You have this Roxio driver installed, you might Google it to see what you want to do (CDRALW2K.SYS). I would probably remove it.

You are one of the folks using a Nero 6 interface with the Nero 7 version. I don't know if this would cause problems, but you must not have used the Nero 6 cleaner before you installed Nero 7. I would go back and uninstall 7 and use the cleaner for versions 6 and 7

Is there anyway i can change the interface version without uninstalling?
