| Sony Optical Drive Issue Hey guys this is my first post and have found this a very informative site but I have a problem I cant find a solution for..I recently purchased a Sony Vaio VGN-FE630 here in Canada about a month ago..Everything was going awesome until the DVD drive suddenly stopped reading dvds. I have tried everything, system restore, system recovery, tried to find new drivers but nothing still hasnt worked. The actual type in device manager is read as SONY DVD RW DW-Q520A. If anyone can help I would appreciate it, thanks! |

| Re: Sony Optical Drive Issue Hi and welcome! If even a system restore didn't help, then there is a more serious problem. Contact your vendor for support and claim your warranty. Michael
