Sony DRU-830A can remove copy protection frm the drive?

Me having Sony DRU-80A DVD writer and want to play DVD frm diff. regions, so is it possible to remove Region protction frm the drive itself?

No. Your drive is a rebadged Samsung, and there is no RPC1 firmware available. You'll have to stick with software solutions, or just get a Liteon DVD-ROM for that purpose.

Copy protection?

Regioning has nothing to do with copy protections.

Use a software solution like Anydvd.
Or use LtnRPC if thats a Liteon rebadge.
