Something went wrong?? - Club CDFreaks

- I have a 40125s myself and flashed it today to 48125S. XP sees it as 48125S , Nero too. but when I start burning I can only choose 32x not even 40x.

- My neighbour has a 24103S and he flashed it to 40125S. This one really burns at 40x but when he finishes burning the drive keeps on closing and open for some times then when he opens nero it stops.

- A friend has a 16102B. He tried to flash it to 24102B but the drive keeps on opening when he starts the burning in Nero.

My question is did all these went wrong??

Make sure you use 40x certified media, and read our FAQ
You cannot flash a 16102B to 24102B.

Most likely that the media you tried burning with was max 24x certified.
Try finding and testing better and higher speed media .

If he used XSU1 to flash his drive it should not make this, however if he used any other firmware (starting with Z) this weird things can happen. Only XSU1 works.
