No DVD+R dual layer after firmware upgrade - Club CDFreaks

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have a LDW-851S that I have upgraded via firmware to SOHW-832S. I have checked regarding the exe firmware file and it's correct. vs08.exe.

My problem is that when I run Nero InfoTolol I don't have any DVD+R dual-layer box at all. Have I done anything wrong?

Any way to get my drive working with DVD+R dual layer?

P.S: go easy on me if its a dumb question i'm only a novice.

What version of Nero are you using? Upgrade to the latest 6.3.1.20 if you're using a old one.

Yes thank you - downloaded nero6upgrade now it's recognising the dvd+r dual layer. Cheers appreciate it
