| Migrating 24X Lite-On to an external USB case Hey folks - I'm going to switch to a laptop from my desktop, and would like to retain my sweet capabilities on my LTR24102B (i.e. exact copying). The laptop I am getting has a USB 1 port on it, not the USB 2 port. I can only burn at 8X with USB 1, correct? If I get a USB 2 PCMCIA card, I then can burn at 24X again? Has anyone done this? I'm looking forward to hearing from others about this.. I want to keep my Lite-On. ![]() Thanks!!!!! |

| With USB 1 you will top out at about 4X. If you add a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card then yes, you will be able to burn at 24X again. -Scott
