LTR 52246S vs 5224P - Club CDFreaks

I picked up a Cendyne 52x (LiteOn) LTR 52246S cdrw at Staples this past week. I noticed today in another Staples that they had the same Cendyne (LiteOn) model 5224P.

Is there any difference in these two models? Is the 5224P any better than the "S" model I have?
I'm wondering if I should swap these units.
I've seen posts from people updating their firmware to the 5224P.

I believe this topic has been discussed before. The 5224P is NOT a Lite-On, but an Acer/Benq instead. From reading all the discussions (and FAQ I believe), the Benq model isn't as reliable as the Lite-On 52246S model.

Lots of people, myself included, have been fooled by the photo of a LiteOn on the front of the box.
