| the 811 and 851 r almost identical drives. The 851 has some cheaper parts and a different PUH. burns 8x on +R 4x on +RW, 4x on -R and 2x on -RW The 812 is in fact a Sony drive. It burns 8x +R/-R and 4x +RW/-RW
