sorry if i missed something obvious but i downloaded 165P6S.MS0P.patched-16xOS-rs.rar. which one do i use if all i want to to is remove the rip lock.

All of the firmwares in the packed file with "rs" in the file name have the rip lock removed.

16xOS = 16x OverSpeed
rs = Read Speed unlocked
fbd = Fast Burn Dual format (3S/5S only)

The MV9N packed file has no rs versions as the rip lock was already removed by Wind.

dArkPL, 160 6S patched firmware is coming.

Arachne, thanks, 16x burning works purrrrfectly for that media.

12x reading of +RW seems to work well. This is a 4x MKM A02.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by the first two burns with the patched firmware

It's a bit late at night here now, but I'll play around with some CMC MAG E01 and MBIPG101 R04 tomorrow
