| LiteOn 16D2S EP53/JP53 Read Speed Patched Firmware Hi all! After a discussion with the great CodeKing about slowness of the drive in question, he give me the opportunity to test a patched version of the most recent firmware for this very cheap and silently but slow SATA DVD reader drive! In detail, i was bored by the read speed of DVD+/-R discs, locked @ 12x  The first two read speed test that i made returned me the following results:
 Unfortunately i can't test with DVD+/-R DL discs  I leave to the author of this the decision to publish or not this version of firmware, which I think is perfect  One again, many tanks CodeKing!  |
