| I almost killed my drive As I was in my way to mod my sony Q120@160P6S ==> 165@P6S, I thought "why don't you open it and see if Liteon forgot the Lightscribe hardware in it??" And I did just that!!! Then my 3 yrs old boy passed by and ... the little belt just vanished  I looked all around the house for about 3 hrs ... and finally my 6 yrs old girl found it some where on the carpet  BTW: Liteon did not forget the lightscribe hardware, so I couldn't make a 165H6S out of my Q120, but I made a 165P6S out of it  Now I am DVDRAM enabled  Thanks to somebody ...

| Re: I almost killed my drive I thought that the 160X6S series drives were defunct 165X6S (failed the DVD-RAM certification??) drives. Good luck anyway.
