| hi, lately most burned DVDs won't be recognized as it.. ..but as "CD-Laufwerk" or "CD-Drive" in english. All burned DVDs are +R Verbatim 16x with ROM bitsetting set and burned with my Pioneer 111L. The Pioneer however seems to recognize the discs properly everytime. The LiteOn however has the above mentioned problem. The disc is not accessible if recognized as "CD-Drive" under XP SP-2, always seems to have data-system RAW and 0 Bytes free and used space. When updating some time using the eject-button occasionaly it will be recognized correctly. My LiteOn is a SHM-165P6S with the latest firmware. To sum things up, anyone have any idea of where the error might be? OS/FW/Drive dying/...? | Re: hi, lately most burned DVDs won't be recognized as it.. nobody knows? i can't believe it. c'mon follow up your reputation, pls  and btw. i blame liteon hardware for this mess. hope you won't get into this situation as liteon support is the cheapest. |
