Hello,
I am new to this forum so please bear with me. I have searched all over for this question but i couldnt find it anywhere.

I recently bought a Lite On 832s and Prodisc -R 8x f01.
I upgraded the firmware to cg3b and i didnt get the results i wanted.
So i flashed the firmware back to the VSOB and I still have the same problems.

But when I burned the Prodisc on my Sony DRU5004 (2.1a) my dvds can be played back on my stand alone players. I currently have a Panasonic DVDRV-32 player and a Panasonic DVD S31 player.

Needless to say my Prodisc can be burned with the DRU500a with no problems playing back on the stand alone player but when i burn it with the
Lite on 832s my stand alone players doesnt recognize it.
Here is an attached file of the Kprobe scan at 4x and a nero dvd speed read.

That disc looks fine to me pi`s are ok pif`s are very good.

i see bith your dvd players are panasonic top branded dvd players are more likly to be picky about dvd r`s were as cheap unknowns like pacific (asdas brand) will play anything.

scan a disc that was burned in your nec and play ok in panasonic.

personaly i would get decent +R`s and bitset to dvd-rom problem solved.
